Established in 1908 by Albert Dupuy, La Cornue is known for bringing the first gas oven into the home. As the company approached its centennial, it wanted a new logo. We redesigned the La Cornue mark and extended it across a new identity system, product portfolio brochures, price guides, and a new print advertising campaign that celebrated La Cornue’s past while positioning it for the future.

To help distinguish La Cornue, and its print materials, from the competition, we employed gold and silver metallic inks, shiny gloss varnishes, and tactile high-quality printing. We extended the typographic sophistication and ornate flourishes from the updated logo across the stationery system, and we developed a series of highly successful magazine ads. Each one depicted the La Cornue stove as the centerpiece for a new kitchen, from which everything else would follow.
